It looks like there will be a second show based in the Hamptons. Hamptonite Matthew Broderick will star in his new pilot called Beach Lane. According to Curbed Hamptons, the show takes place in Dockhampton which is loosely based off of Sag Harbor. We look forward to seeing it Matt!

We welcome the new host of "Good Morning America" George Stephanopoulos to the Hamptons. Diane Sawyer's replacement bought his new digs for $3.5 million. The 4,500 square-foot East Hampton estate was built in the 1890s and renovated in 1993.

Spotted: Hugh Grant

Last night in Southampton, romantic-comedy star Hugh Grant was seen at the Keszler Gallery. Hugh was there to support his father, artist James Grant, who was exhibiting his collection of watercolors to benefit the Southampton Fresh Air Home. Hugh was a good sport and spent the entire evening posing for pictures and shaking hands with many of the guests in the packed crowd.

Bernie Madoff: We Brought Him To You First

Hampton Star Map was the first to reveal the address of Ponzi Schemer Bernie Madoff's beach front Montauk estate. According to Bloomberg, the modest by Hampton standards, four bedroom home is listed for $8.5 million. It's not enough to chip away at the 65 billion dollars allegedly owed to investors. The spectacular views and 150 feet of beach front should help sell the house which is so 80's-think stock market crash of '87.

This week was the 34th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show. A star studded cast was in attendance at the event according to Newsday's Hangin' in the Hamptons. They reported seeing Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Ripa, Robert Duval, the Hiltons, and the Giuliani family. Also in attendance was Mayor Mike Bloomberg watching his daughter Georgina win one of her events.
